The history of the medical center began in 2012 with the rental of premises in a communal institution and the state with:
- 2 doctors (surgeon and dermatovenerologist)
- 2 nurses
- Junior Nurse
Manipulative procedures and simple surgical interventions for the treatment of varicose veins were carried out at this location. The increase in the flow of patients prompted the idea with separate rooms and an expansion of the range of services.
So the search began and together with the partners of PP “Photonics Plus” we found a room that met the requirements and was able to accommodate not only a medical institution, but also the production and maintenance of medical laser equipment necessary for work. In March 2018, we opened our doors to patients for the first time in a new location. The new location was more spacious, so it housed:
- 1 operating room
- 2 chambers
- several offices for receiving patients
- Manipulation cabinet
Very quickly there was a need to expand the staff of doctors and nurses.
In 2019, the staff of the Academy of Laser Medicine worked:
- 3 Surgeons
- 1 doctor dermatovenerologist
- 2 operating nurses
- 3 Manipulating Nurses
- 2 junior nurses
At the end of 2019, a gynecologist was invited to work, who carried out not only consultation examinations, but also minimally invasive operations.
At the beginning of 2020, it was decided to expand the activities of the Academy of Laser Medicine and added the specialization of plastic surgery with the involvement of a doctor with the appropriate profile.
A year later, it was understood that the area of the medical institution is not enough to carry out a large number of operations and manipulations, and therefore the “Academy of Laser Medicine” needs to be expanded.
For this purpose, a room was quickly found, which very favorably complemented the medical institution, because it was very close. In 2021, an agreement was signed for its lease.
By the beginning of 2022, part of the rough work has already been carried out, and then comes on February 24...
There was no understanding of what to do next, how many staff would remain in the medical center, whether there would be demand for the provision of our services. The first days of a full-scale invasion of patients were almost absent, and the staff prepared for any development of events.
Yes already at the beginning of March 2022patients recovered from the first shock and began to seek services. Initially, it was the removal of small neoplasms, then there were requests for operations. On March 10, 2022, the medical center fully resumed its work in the usual mode, we were ready, despite the situation in the country, to provide quality medical services.
The rented premises remained in a suspended state because there was no established logistics for building materials that were needed for repairs. Repairs resumed only in 2023.
And February 26, 2024the new outpatient department has already received the first patients.
Summer 2024the operating building was expanded and another operating room and another ward were created. This allowed to increase the number of operations. Also, the management of the clinic, taking into account the requests of patients, decided to add a new direction in their activities - otolaryngology.
So in the summer of 2025Another ward was added for convenient placement of patients after surgery.
The medical center works with the license of the Ministry of Health and the permission of the State Medical Service for general anesthesia during operations. All specializations are licensed, doctors and junior medical personnel have the appropriate certificates to confirm their qualifications.
