Liposuction
This is a surgical operation during which the doctor removes excess fat deposits using special cannulas and a vacuum apparatus.
Its main goal is Correction of body contours, not weight loss. Liposuction allows you to make the silhouette more harmonious, emphasize natural lines and get rid of local fat “traps” that do not disappear even with proper nutrition and sports.
Most often, liposuction is performed in the zones:
- abdomen and waist;
- hips (outer and inner surfaces);
- buttocks;
- knees;
- hands;
- chin and neck.
It is important to understand:
- liposuction is not a method of losing weight. It is suitable for people with a relatively stable weight, but with local fat deposits;
- the result depends on the elasticity of the skin (if the skin has lost its tone, a combination with a tightening may be required);
- after surgery, you need to wear compression underwear and follow the surgeon's recommendations for proper recovery.
How does liposuction occur?
- performed under general or local anesthesia (depending on the amount of intervention and the condition and wishes of the patient);
- making small punctures in the intervention area;
- the introduction of a special solution;
- introduction of cannulas for the suction of fat cells and the formation of contours of the selected zone;
- applying stitches to puncture sites and wearing compression underwear.
Duration of operation
From 2 to 4 hours (depending on the number of liposuction zones).
Who is liposuction suitable for?
- people with local fat deposits that do not disappear after diet and sports (for example, “halife”, abdomen, sides, hips, chin);
- those who have a normal or close to normal weight, but want to make the contour of the body more expressive;
- women and men who have a stable weight.
What is the cost of liposuction?
The cost of liposuction is from 300 €* for 1 zone (final price depends on the number of zones).
*calculation in hryvnia equivalent at the NBU exchange rate on the date of the transaction. The cost of general anesthesia and compression knitwear is paid separately.
